FROM, a hit US sci-fi horror series (Rotten Tomatoes: 94% | IMDb: 7.6) is set to premiere for the very first time in the UK, on the launch date of Sky’s newly rebranded channel, Sky Sci-Fi (formerly SyFy channel) and streaming service NOW.
Originally released in the US in February of this year on EPIX, Sky announced last week that they are set to screen the highly rated series; which has already been renewed for a second season.
The 10-episode series unravels the mystery of a nightmarish town that traps all who enter. Viewers can expect to see unwilling residents fight to keep a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, whilst they battle to survive the threats of the surrounding forest, filled with terrifying creatures that come out when the sun goes down.
Brought to viewers by producer John Griffin and exec produced by LOST creators, Jack Bender and Jeff Pinkner, those at home will journey into the unknown with a brand-new series of twists and turns, starring Harold Perrineau (LOST), Catalina Sandino Moreno (A Most Violent Year) and Eion Bailey (Band of Brothers).
The contemporary sci-fi horror series, will be available as a boxset release.
FROM will be available to watch on Sky Sci-Fi (Channel 152, Sky) and to binge on demand, as well as on streaming service NOW, from July 26.
