March 2021 was when the final episode of The Holzer Files aired on discovery+ and the Trvl Channel. As it was revealed that unfortunately the show hadn’t been renewed by Discovery for a third season. The show starred Dave Schrader, as the lead paranormal investigator, psychic medium Cindy Kaza and equipment tech, Shane Pittman.
Fans of the show were obviously disappointed when the news broke that the show hadn’t been renewed. But Schrader, Kaza and Pittman promised fans that there were ‘new projects’ in the pipeline that they were working on.
Only last month it was announced that Dave and Cindy were back together for a new discovery+ paranormal series The Ghosts of Devil’s Perch, which is set to premiere on the platform later on in the month.
It was only yesterday Shane broke the news on his Twitter feed that he, Josh Purvis and Ray Causey have teamed up to form, Searchers. And in this new paranormal series titled Searchers: The Paranormal Mind, the guys use unconventional investigative methods to research and investigate strange and unusual claims of paranormal activity. The eight episode series will premiere worldwide on online streaming service, Vimeo. Starting with Episode 1 ‘Just The Beginning’ – premiering 12am (ET) August 18th.
With no big budget or camera crews, the whole series is all filmed and produced by them.
